Mays for bakeries

Every bake, every shift, done the way you taught it.

Production checklists, recipes, ingredient counts, schedules for the early crew and the counter, and team chat in one app. One flat fee per location.

Sound familiar?

Recipes in someone’s head

The best croissant depends on who baked it. When that person is off, the batch shows it.

The 4 a.m. crew and the counter team

Two schedules, two shifts, and handovers on sticky notes between the bake room and the front.

Butter, flour and guesswork

Ingredients run out mid-bake, or sit until they spoil, because nobody counted.

A day at your bakery on Mays

  1. 4 a.m.
    Bake

The early crew clocks in and follows the production checklist for the day’s bake, with photos of the first trays.

  2. 6:30 a.m.
    Hand over

The shift logbook tells the counter team what came out, what’s still proofing and what sold out yesterday.

  3. 10 a.m.
    Check

A connected sensor flags a cooler that’s warming, and the task goes to whoever is on shift.

  4. 1 p.m.
    Count

Flour, butter and packaging are counted on the phone, so tomorrow’s order goes out on time.

  5. 5 p.m.
    Close

The closing checklist covers the ovens, the case and the floor, and Mays keeps the photos.

Questions

Can bakers use it with flour on their hands?

Steps are big and simple, staff can clock in with a tap on an NFC tag or on a shared tablet, and counts can be spoken instead of typed.

Do I pay for every employee?

No. Mays is one flat fee per location, never per user, so adding a new hire or a seasonal crew does not change the bill. The pricing page shows what each plan includes.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Staff use the Mays app on iPhone or Android, managers can also work from a browser, and a shared tablet can be the store’s time clock.

How do we get started?
